What a session involves
Each session is a conversation between you and me, over secure video. There's no agenda you have to bring. We'll start with what's on your mind, and shape the work from there. You decide what to share and what to leave aside.
Session length
Standard sessions are 60 minutes. 40-minute sessions are available after the first session.
A note on Medicare and rebates
Not at this time. Medicare rebates under a Mental Health Care Plan are not available for counselling sessions.
My fees are similar to the cost of seeing a psychologist after medicare rebates, and no referral is needed. If this changes, I'll update this page.
How to pay
Secure payment is made at the time of booking, by card or PayPal. A receipt is provided by email.
Cancellations
Where possible, please give at least 24 hours' notice if you need to reschedule or cancel, via your booking link. Cancellations made 24 hours or more before your appointment receive a full refund, automatically paid to your card. Cancellations inside 24 hours, including same-day cancellation and non-attendance, will not be refunded.
Late notice cancellations can only be done through your Halaxy SMS confirmation replying with N, or by email.
You can send a N reply to an SMS confirmation works even after you've replied Y, changing an initial confirmation to a cancellation. However, please note that subsequent Y will not uncancel a previous N.
